Local communities are not prepared to meet the challenges of the recent and projected onslaught of climate impacts into their daily operations. The Educators Summit addressed this problem by helping middle and high school teachers and students design Common Core, STEM, & Next Generation Science curriculum to engage students as citizen scientists working in collaboration with community planners and leaders.
The Educators Summit helped middle and high school teachers and community leaders engage with students as citizen scientists working to better prepare their natural and human-built communities for the impacts of climate change.
