Building Local Capacity to Respond to the Impacts from a Changing Climate

January 25, 2017

2:30 PM – 5:30 PM

90% of US communities are small, resource poor and in significant need of support in building local capacity to address impacts to a changing climate. Antioch University New England and NOAA will be leading an interactive workshop on January 25, 2017 in Washington DC at the NCSE 2017 conference.

This workshop will provide innovative stakeholder capacity building strategies in the context of the essential role that institutions of higher learning can play through their applied research agendas. Participants will learn how to move communities from planning to action in their response to such climate change.
