We are pleased to offer travel grant funds to enable participation in the 2023 Local Solutions: Climate Migration Conference, to be held in Keene, NH, May 16-17, 2023.
How may the travel grant funds be used?
Awardees may use travel grant funds for expenses related to the Local Solutions conference -registration, lodging, and travel (e.g., bus fare, mileage, tolls, parking).
Who is eligible for a travel grant?
Travel grants will be awarded with preference to these categories:
a) participants in NEST subregional convenings
b) local government decisionmakers
c) participants from historically marginalized groups and community-based organizations
How will the travel grant be awarded?
Travel grant applications will be reviewed and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, until all travel grant funds have been awarded. Travel grant funds will be provided after the conference based on provision of receipts for actual conference expenses. Those awarded travel grants will be provided a reimbursement form to be used for accessing the award. The deadline for submission of the reimbursement form, with all receipts, is May 31, 2023.
How much are the travel grants?
Travel grant applications will be awarded based on available funds and anticipated costs, with the following caps:
Participants travelling from NY and Maine up to $750
Participants travelling from VT, NH, MA, RI, CT up to $500
